  1. Lower your suspension.

  2. No matter what you do a YZ125 will be too tall for someone your height...sorry.

  3. They make linkage for lowering your bike..You dont want to mess with your suspension..You need your race sag set for your weight..There are alot of kids your size racing 125s..My son is 5'2" and he rides them just fine...Just need some blocks at the starting gate..Never lower your bike with the rear shock..You can set your forks down a few mills...But always set your sag to your weight..You can either trim a little off your seat or buy a seat at motosport.com already trimed..

  4. just get a smaller bike if your worried about not fitting

  5. you could wind down the suspension a bit with a s***w driver and a hammer and it doesn't cost anything

  6. I don't know where it is you race and perhaps the rulings are different there, but where I am you would not be allowed to race a yz125 till you were 12 years old.

Even with trimming the seat down and adjusting the suspension you are going to be having a hard time on the bike.  You could use starting blocks on the start line, but think you would be better off waiting till you are a couple of years older and have grown a bit before getting a 125cc.

  7. You can take off the seat, remove the seat cover then you shave up to 2 inches off with an electric carving knife. You could also lower the sag height on the bike by loosening the nuts on the top(holding the spring in place) of the mono shock the top is just a locking nut and the bottom adjusts it and if you raise that about an inch it will lower the bike 2 inches when you sit on it.

  8. if i raced i would still stick with the KTM 105 because it has some good kick and is a lot like the yz 125....plus it is smaller and lighter

i was also considering the yz but ended up not going with it because of its size and the owner of the store said that the KTM is just as good and possibly even better

good luck with whatever you end up doing

  9. Dude your way to small for a 125 and your only eleven my opinion is if you have to lower the seat just to be comfortable its too big
