  1. It will be a whole lot cheaper if you do it yourself depending on what you are doing.  Do you know anything about electronics and cars?  If so, then it should be a breeze.  All you'll need is the "in dash installation kit" and the "wiring harness" that is made for your vehicle.  These items can be found anywhere they sell radios.  Instructions are very simplisitic.  Typically the wires on the "harness" you purchased would match the ones that come with the radio you got.

  2. They will definitely charge you for installation.  Probably $150 to $200.  And if you are just adding that to your stock system there is more you need to buy to make it work.  They probably have High/Low converters but that will be an extra charge too plus installation of that.  And just so you know, Best Buy will Hire anyone who says they know how to install so they do not always have the best people for the job.

  3. Best buy will charge you about $55 to install it.

It's a fairly easy install depending on your car.

Don't forget that you will also need power, speaker, remote wire, rca cable, fuse terminal and maybe a line output converter (if you have a factory radio). Looking at another $100 or so

If you do some research you can get better equipment at a better price

  4. GET IT MAN!!BUT IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT, WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING MORE USEFUL.

  5. Buy this same item from Ebay for about $100 less....Look at:Item number: 290241739024....I have bought loads of stuff from Sonic electronics..You can put them in yourself.Very easy.
