I want to get this tattoo but i don't no if i can?

i really want to get a tattoo that says "let it be" on my upper right forearm right below were your arm bends in small script. my dad says that the marines will not take anyone who has tattoos on their forearm or hands.

do you think they would allow me have that, for anything thing i do there?

your dad is right if you really want it on your arm get it up higher so it an be covered by a t-shirt.

my fiance is a marine. recently out.

when he was in it was repeated numerous times- from the day he joined- no visible tatts.

his are all coverable- he got all of them while in the marines-

one in austrailia when there for training and 1 from hawaii

so that being said- scoot your design up to your shoulder

Just get it somewhere where you can easily hide it. My dad was in the Seabees and he got tattoos while he was serving. So I didn't know that the Marines wouldn't take you for a tattoo.

Oh, and I have a tattoo that says Let it Be also!

Your father is absolutely right. The marines do not allow tattoos to be shown, no matter what job you're doing.

Your dad is right. Instead, try to get it where it won't be visible if you really want the tattoo.
