  1. you should stick to a main diet like seeds or rodent blocks which you should give everyday, and then supplement with other bits and pieces like veges, or treats.

here are a list of things my mice love: broccoli, cabbage and lettuce, uncooked rice, apples, carrots, uncooked pasta, cheerios, dog biscuits, stale wholemeal bread,

basically they like a lot of things.

just never give them citrus fruits because they can get diarrhoea. you can give fresh veges every day, but only fruits about once or twice a week.

dog biscuits are good for them because it gives them more protein and wears down their teeth. but choose one low in protein because normal dog biscuits already contain heaps.

    have fun! =)

  2. fruits and veggies. I used to feed those to my pet mice and he also liked bread.

  3. I say keep to their usual diets, but give them treats every so often, such as; vegetables and oats. Some mice can eat certain kinds of fruits.I am not quite sure what kind so you might want to look it up. Salt blocks are also good for mice, for it keeps their teeth clean and healthy.

You can buy worm syrup to put in their water so they don't get sick as easily.

  4. Be careful on the fresh fruits and veggies.  I seem to be in the minority, but if I give mine any more than the occasion two or three peas, they get diarrhea and quite ill.  Most people don't see this problem, so you might be fine, just be careful about the quantity.

Other safer options include:  rice (raw or cooked is fine); rolled or quick oats; millet; sunflower seeds (but not too many or they'll get faaat or possibly get bald patches from too much protein); flax seeds; pearled barley; cheerios; just go easy on wheat, peanuts, and corn--many strains have sensitivities to these.

  5. Easy, fresh foods! They SHOULD be getting fresh foods. Daily veggies and fruits once or twice a week (since they are high in sugar). Here's a list I made for rats:

Some good vegetables to feed would be romaine lettuce (not iceburg!), peas, corn (occasionally), squash (butternut, acorn, orangetti, spaghetti), broccoli, kale, carrots, bok choy, parsley, bell peppers (red, yellow, orange), sweet potato (cooked, not raw!), cilantro, and dandelion greens. Some good fruits to feed would be blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, strawberries, bananas, apples, and pears. It's generally best to go with organic fruits and veggies so as to avoid pesticides.

  6. have you tried fruit?if not, they love grapes and apples,as for veggis they love brocli and peas.hope this helps a little.

  7. fruit and doritos
