  1. You will need to talk to the resources on the base that you are stationed along with the ROTC detachment of the university that you will attend.

Here is one link among others:  Green to Gold Opportunities

Site for highlighting schools with ROTC Green to Gold programs

    https://www.us.army.mil/suite/page/38828...

    1.  You can apply to any school that has ROTC, will accept you, and that you have the means to pay for.

    2.  You do not work at the ROTC office during your breaks and summers because you are just a normal ROTC student.  After your freshman and/or sophomore year, you may have the opportunity to attend airborne/air assault/northern warfare training but there is no pay attached.  You get 3 hots & a cot while doing it.  Normally between your junior and senior year, you will attend ROTC camp (use to be called Advanced Camp but now has a new fancy name) that lasts a little under six weeks.  During this camp, one is paid at the rate of 50% of a 2LT's pay.  One is commissioned (normally) after completing the ROTC program and being certified by the PMS; and receiving one's undergraduate degree.

    3.  Check with the local ROTC program's ROO (Recruiting Operations) Officer or the ROO at the University that you want to attend.  If you cannot find their number, send me an email and I can track it down from it.  Most of the contact information can be found on each ROTC program's website which can be found by googling "Podunk Unviersity" "ROTC" or through the Cadet Command website available on AKO.

GT score of 110 or greater

Pass the APFT within the last 6 months with score of 180 or higher, minimum of 60 points in each event

Be a High School Graduate or equivalent

Cumulative High School or College GPA of 2.5

Letter of Acceptance to School of Choice offering Army ROTC

Letter of Acceptance from the PMS of that Army ROTC Battalion

    DODMERB Medical Qualification

    Be eligible to Reenlist

    Not be a conscientious objector

    Good Luck!!
