I want to go blonde, what if I hate it?

I have a pretty basic color brown hair with a bit of a brassy-red tint at the top. I'd like to go blonde, maybe light to medium blonde. I plan to go to the salon, however, if I can't stand it, can i immediately darken it? How long before I can dye it again? Thanks!

yeah, jsut go for it because the worst case is that you'll have to dye it back to your origionaly color which you can do almost immediately after

Before you do a drastic hair color or cut to your hair I suggest you purchase a good, realistic human hair wig with with the color/ cut you were planning on getting. That way you can try out the style/ color for a while without damaging your hair unnecessarily before you decide on choosing the color and style that's best for you.

Also, lightening your hair then darkening it very soon after if you don't like it, is very damaging to your hair. It can become dry and brittle because the pigments can be very harsh.

yeah u can..just dye it back dark..it didn't dry my hair out just use alot of conditioning afterwards

If you hate it, you can color the same day with  a darker semi-permanent color which will even add shine to your hair. Semi-permanent color is used because it just deposits color and is healthier for your hair. Hope this helps.

go to a really good salon and get it done, if you dont like it at all, usually [if its a really good salon, not like walmart], they will dye it back brown free of charge or at a very low price, its all about the customers happiness

Go back to the salon if you don't like it and they'll do it correctly.

If you do it yourself, you'll weaken your hair and it could fall out.

If you hate it, blonde can easily be dyed a different color. I did black and hated it, but that wasn't so easy to fix.

You're not supposed to immediately dye it, but I always have if I hate a haircolor. Just get an amazing conditioner if you do.
