I am in the market for a PDA to serve as my organizer/planner. I have been using a day timer for eons now, and with my new tech position, I think it is time to step up. The other thing is that my husband and are in the market for a family cell plan, and he says I should get a phone that doubles as a PDA. I just want to keep my to-do lists organized. I don't need fancy stuff, but if buying an all-in-one that is easy to use is the best, then I will buy the phone that couples as a personal organizer. Any suggestions? I don't need to surf the net or e-mail or download music, etc. I just want to part ways with my big leather day timer.

  1. Myself I have the Palm 755p... It's the best device I've had.  I'd really stay away from any device with the windows mobile operating system... It's not nearly all it's cracked up to be.  The palm is tried and tested and is far more stable than any of the others.

  2. On a professional note? I would go either a Window Mobile Device or a Blackberry.

For recreational but yet slick? LG DARE

  3. Depending on which cell phone carrier you have. I have a Blackberry and its awesome for calendars, memos, tasks, appts. and so on. The 8000 series is great. Good luck.
