  1. To be certified organic in most countries you must meet some standards.

        * avoidance of synthetic chemical inputs (e.g. fertilizer, pesticides, antibiotics, food additives, etc) and genetically modified organisms;

        * use of farmland that has been free from chemicals for a number of years (often, three or more);

        * keeping detailed written production and sales records (audit trail);

        * maintaining strict physical separation of organic products from non-certified products;

        * undergoing periodic on-site inspections.

    Contact your government agency and get the process started.  If you can prove what you are claiming you may get certified right away, if not, you may have to wait some time to get certified.  In either case the faster you get the process going the better.

  2. Not knowing where in the world you are, if in the United States or a territory of it, contact your Agricultural Extension Agent and ask what certifying organization is in your area. They will tell you what is considered acceptable to use and how long you need to be using their standards before they will certify you. They will do inspections to assure you meet their standards and expectations, both from documents and from walk around inspections.

    For export to other nations, you have a lot of research to do to begin with, but start now with your physical changes and document everything or your money may not be as wisely spent as you would want.

  3. contact your local  eco cert

    they are all over the world

    web site http://www.ecocert.com

    they could help you

  4. Presumably you are in India.

    The DST, Govt of India, has funded some projects on this subject.

    Visit www.ciks.org

    CIKS has a whole lot of info on the subject. Their scientists can help you with all that you need.

    They have already helped many farmers in Sukkankoil, Tamil Nadu to set up organic farming. The products are being exported is the info.
