I want to go from Paris to Lyon. Which will be the best and less expensive way to do it?.?

Can I go by train? or is better going by air?

Actually I am arriving to the Charles De Gaulle Airpot in Paris. and from there i need to get to Lyon.

  1. You can go directly from the TGV terminal at CDG to Lyon. the trip takes about 2 hours and is far more convenient than any other method of transportation. There are a dozen departures every day. The cost will range from 43 to 67 euros depending on the time of day.


  2. I second the people who advised you to take the train. The time saved by taking the plane is negligible by the way, for the simple reason that airports are generally located 15 to 45 minutes outside of the cities they serve, whereas train stations are typically in the heart of downtown areas, and the TGV is very fast.

  3. if you don't mind the time, i'd take the train. I think it costs between 50 - 100 Euros. Flights to lyon are more expensive i think.
