I want to go from dyed black hair to dark brown?

Question

I know i have to bleach so cn i use jerome russell hair bleach and as many people said it wud turn orange, i could just then dye it dark brown? Will it work? is it too damaging?? I cnt go 2 the salon cuz i am a student!!

I think you should just dye it dark brown instead. That would probably be better :)

I did the exact same thing when i was in 7th or 8th grade! Anything with bleach is very damaging. But if you did decide to bleach it, make sure you have a heavy moisturizing conditioner, and you should probably use it every time you wash your hair, focusing on the ends. My suggestion is to just let it fade out. I was really desperate to not have it anymore too, but it was the healthiest option I had. So basically, its either damage or time. :)

bleach actually opens up the pores in your hair and yes it will turn orange, I had my hair dyed black and when i wanted it back to blonde it went orange instead. so i had to dye it dark brown, i think that you should maybe wait a day before you dye it after bleaching it. my hair hasn't been damaged yet and i dye it every 2 weeks.

you could try a brown hair colour, but it could go orange

try asking at a hair dresser for an opinion

dont dye it with that brand,it will turn orange.try to use paull michelle,its the best and dameges the hair the least.also,your hair will not come out completley brown the firstt time.im trying to go from blue black to hunny blonde and right now its a total mess.so be carefull and dont expect an even,preatty haircolor the first time.
