  1. you have to be attending with someone over 21. If you are 18, you can go alone but you are not aloud to accompany minors. I tried doing this before. They would not let me take my friend.

  2. from Carnivals site

How old do you have to be to travel alone?

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

  3. For the majority of cruise lines, like 99%, someone has to be 25, not 21. And they usually check. Just find someone 25, at work or school and have the girls all chip to pay for her ticket so she can be the chapperone.

  4. Guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone who is at least 25 years old; one adult chaperone is required for every five people under 21.

Minors under age 18 traveling to any foreign country must be accompanied by both parents or have a notarized letter of consent signed by the parent(s) not traveling. If the other parent is deceased or the child has only one legal parent, a notarized statement must be obtained as proof.

Alcoholic beverages will not be served to guests under age 21.

Guests who have any medical, physical or other special needs must contact an agent at 530-893-4684 to discuss the details of their specific special need.

  5. No.  I think all cruise lines require at least one person is 21 years or older in each stateroom if you're going in groups with minors.

  6. Sorry but all major cruise lines state that one person in the cabin has to be atleast 21 years old....carnival goes as far to say that if someone in the cabin is less than 21 years old then one person has to be 25.  So if you wanted to go with a 20 year old on carnival you need a 25 year old to book the room.....no cruise line is going to give you a room if your only 18 sorry....the only options you have are to find some older people to go with or go with your parents
