  1. My wife and I just went on Carnival cruise to Cabo San Lucas. It was great. You can eat 24 hours a day, all food provided free. Depending on your cruise line, they might offer shore excursions you have to pay for. On ours there we could get on and off the boat as we pleased. There is a couple things you need to know:

    1. Get passports. Even though technically now they are not required, they speeded up the boarding process.

    2. If you go Carnival, make sure you do the Fun Pass. This makes getting aboard even easier.

    3. If you go ashore, stay close to the tourist areas. Don't venture far into the country.

If you need any more info, feel free to e-mail me at mpblackbelt on yahoo.

  2. get away from drug dealers

  3. dont go to a donkey show

  4. I went on Carnival Conquest and had a blast. However, I would not recommend getting off in Jamacia.

  5. I personally recommend Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. People there are very nice and of course they would be that way. They want your business. It's fun! Just make sure not to leave your belongings just anywhere because they will disappear. I guess that would be anywhere. Have fun at your trip!

  7. Make sure you have a passport.

  8. We took 2 cruises which docked in Cozumel. We had a really great time both trips. The first was with RC and the 2nd was with Disney. We had kids on the Disney cruise and really loved it.

If you just want to do a week in Mexico go to Riviera Maya. You will have a very relaxing week in paradise. The week in Mexico was so much fun and a really good mix of some fun stuff to do and see plus some down days on the beach.

The cruise is cool because you get to see more than one place while having a "home away from home". Getting on and off the ship is a bit of a hassle with kids. You need to be sure to take stuff with you but also be portable.

Our next trip is another cruise but it was hard to decide between the relaxing week and the fun and adventure of the cruise. This time we're going to the E. Carribbean. Cruise is a great way to try out different place while keeping costs low.
