I want to go somewhere nice for the weekend with my girlfriend?(In England)?

I would like to go somewhere for the weekend which would be a nice suprise,where there are things to do but abit different from going to Blackpool!

Try the Yorkshire Dales, or the Southeast or southwest, there are plenty of Bed and Breakfasts tucked away in the country, think of evenings by a cosy log fire, falling asleep on a huge king size bed and waking to the smells of the country and fresh brewed coffee and a home cooked breakfast.

Better than riding a tram along Blackpool beachfront!!!!!

Why stick to England? Why not Cornwall or Wales as well?

In Wales you have Cardiff, which is a beautifull city with lots of restaurants, plenty of clubs and brilliant gig venues (Coal exchange for one).

In Cornwall you have hundreds of miles of coastline to explore, or if you want to be a sheep like all the other holiday makers then you can go to Newquay.

there's plenty of cultural entertainment in Cornwall (Minack theatre etc..) aswell as extreme sports, surfing and night life (only in Newquay really).
