I'll be going for a week/week and a half at the end of june, but I'm 18 and will be travelling alone, and will most likely be paying for it myself.

  1. If you are near anyMilitary Base you ask themif  the have a space free that is very cheap

  2. Well if your near a military base that has cargo planes then you can check if they any hops if you have the time? And you must have a military id. If not then just check what airports are around or near where you wanna go and see if it would be cheaper to fly there and then bus or taxi the rest of the way there.

  3. Last time I went, I continually scanned ALL the online ticket places and found tickets for dirt cheap eventually.  You have to be persistent though.  I love southern Germany which some have mentioned as expensive.  That is where the family is though, and I didn't find it any cheaper to go to the north and take a train home... So aggressively scout the bargains.  My online tickets were cheaper than the travel agent could find!

  4. "Condor" offers inexpensive flights to Germany (and back).  Also search for the LTU Airlines (another German airline), they also has very inexpensive flights to Germany and back to the States. "Lufthansa" also is a great airline, but might be more expensive than the others.

Germany itself is quite cheap, but I am speaking more for Northern and Central Germany, not for the southern part of Germany.   My advice: go into local German supermarkets and buy your food there -- you'll be amazed how cheap things are over there, compared with the prices in the U.S.!!!!

Southern Germany is really beautiful, but also expensive and that's why I advice you to visit Hamburg or Berlin.

    Greetings from Germany..

  5. Lowest cost international flights at globester.com

  6. Walk and swim

  7. You could join the Army, but after they sent you there for a while, they would probably send you somewhere you wouldn't want to be.
