I want to go to India for H1B visa stamp. What is the earliest date I can go and come back?

My H1B starts from October 1, 2008. I am planning to leave on Spetember 19, 2008 and returning back on September 27, 2008. I am planning to take the visa interview on September 22, 2008. Is this possible?

  2. It is your employers responsibility to make the appropriate arrangements for your stamping and whatnot. That is not a question that we can answer for you. Your employer will need to contact the US Embasy in India and inquire about your interview.
