I want to go to Italy, are the travels agencies like Gate 1, Insight and brendan any good?

I can only speak to Gate 1, but we did a four-city tour with them in Italy last year and would go with them again anytime.  Our escort for the 9 days was Giorgio, a Roman who spoke excellent English and delivered us, on time, to all of the tour stops where the local guides would take over.  It was a great experience and I would recommend their services without reservation.
