I want to go to NV to get Fireworks and bring them back into CA. Any ideas on how to avoid Johnny law?

I was planning on going to Pahrump, but I hear about people getting caught. Anyone ever done it and if so, are there any special tricks you could share? Also, I am not talking about a lot of fireworks, maybe $1,000 or so for me and a buddy.

Well don't speed, make sure your car doesn't have any non operational exterior lights (tail and headlights), and don't drive drunk. If you do that then you probably won't get caught.

You do know how much $1000 worth of fireworks is right?

Don't do it. Go to Moapa Tribal off I-15 north of Vegas, you can buy and shoot your fireworks there on their launch pad if you have to get your fix. There are Ca law enforcement that watch the places you are thinking of going to and radio HP when you leave, avoid the ticket and possible jail time and do it legally, hasn't this been a record year for fires in Cali? Your enjoyment is not worth someone loosing their house/life in a fire and you going to prison.

Obviously you don't read the news. I live in Nor Cal where more than one hundred homes have been lost. Currently two fireman are dead and thousands of acres are burned. Can't you and your Billy Bob buddies just light your farts for fun?

Hide them in your luggage.  Wrap them up in your clothes, put them inside a duffle bag so it looks and blends in with your personal belongings.  Unless you have drugs on you they won't have a reason to search you.  Don't drive like a nut, don't light any off till you get home, don't brag about it either.

dude thats a lot 1000 dollars worth of it? lol its easy man just go out of state and get some...i bought like 2k of bottle rockets 8 big bottle rockets and some other fireworks for 20 bucks no lie man there cheap and a lot so i'd say spend 500 or so...chances of getting caught are like 25/200 in fact you wont get caught unless they pull you over for somthing you did then if they even see the fireworks you'll then get caught..

last september i brought some..they way we did it was my bro is a semi driver so we bought some stuck them in the bed and thats it..lolz we just went back to cali and had fun there =D

You know when you get caught? When you get drunk and decide popping off some M-80s in the backyard would be fun.

As long as you set them off in the middle of nowhere, you'll be OK.
