I want to go to Paris by train. I don't want to go through the tunnel! Any suggestions?

How can a foot passenger get from Calais ferryport to the eurostar terminal to travel to Paris?

Calais Ville train station is in the centre of the town. You can get a bus into town from the ferryport. It will drop you off at the station on request. You will not travel by Eurostar into Paris - it would be a normal train.

Calais  station is not a long walk from the docks, TGV trains run to Paris from there. Did this route just before the tunnel opened.

As in your question, you can't. You can get a bus from the ferry port to Calais Ville station, and a stopping train to Paris. The Eurostar does not pick-up at Calais. Your journey will be difficult { train to Dover, bus to ferry office, bus to ferry, channel ferry, bus to terminal, bus to station and train to Gare du Nord } and will involve quite a bit of luggage humping.

Take the Eurostar, you only have to shut your eyes for 20 minutes

The Eurostar service is the cross-channel service only.

If you join a train at Calais for Paris it will be a French domestic service, not a Eurostar.

You can walk across a footbridge and into Calais town, or catch a bus from the ferry terminal, or take a taxi.

You then take a local train from Calais Ville station to Lille (where you transfer to TGV for Paris).
