I want to go to Paris to the world cup final on friday or saturday , i want to take my car or go by train.?

take the train,  bad enough driving even when you are used to the crazy french drivers and roads, but during the world cup, you really are asking for trouble

You'll have one heck of a job parking in central Paris -you will have to park miles out and get the Metro in. Better to go by train and not worry.

Have just Heard Eurostar have Industrial Action this Weekend with services going to Paris, so you may well need to go by car and ferry anyway.

from Paris

There is a French public services strike which will affect Eurostar services this weekend. At the moment it looks as though 1 in 6 trains may be cancelled. Because Eurostar is an all-seated booked-seats only service you may find difficulty getting on.
