  1. take the train,  bad enough driving even when you are used to the crazy french drivers and roads, but during the world cup, you really are asking for trouble

  2. You'll have one heck of a job parking in central Paris -you will have to park miles out and get the Metro in. Better to go by train and not worry.

  3. Go by train, less stress and more fun as you will meet more fans. However, doubt if you will get a ticket now.

    Further to My answer above.

Have just Heard Eurostar have Industrial Action this Weekend with services going to Paris, so you may well need to go by car and ferry anyway.

  4. You have 3 ways to go the airport by rails :

    from Paris

By Subway : "line 13 St Denis - Porte de Paris" Station

By Express (RER) : "line B - La Plaine Stade de France"

By Express (RER) : "line D - St Denis Stade de France"

from Eurostar at Gare du Nord:

By Express (RER) : "line B - La Plaine Stade de France"

By Express (RER) : "line D - St Denis Stade de France"

    from Roissy CDG Airport :

By Express (RER) : "line B - La Plaine Stade de France"

  5. Be warned!!!!!!!!

There is a French public services strike which will affect Eurostar services this weekend. At the moment it looks as though 1 in 6 trains may be cancelled. Because Eurostar is an all-seated booked-seats only service you may find difficulty getting on.

Check with Eurostar as soon as you read this. Either by phone or the web.

  6. you would have a very hard time driving you car from

Canada to Paris!  as well as a train I don't think there is a bridge

    over the Atlantic ocean!

    well
