  1. how about Krabi?? There's lots to do!!

It's a haven for scuba divers and snorkeling. Deep sea fishing may turn up sailfish, tuna, mackerel, or mahi mahi.

There are several local sites offering good, adventurous caves and caverns, plus some fabulous dive locations: Shark Point, Anemone Reef (as the names say it all, great for leopard shark watching, covered with anemone in bright plethora of colors), and Phi Phi. You can take diving course and get a PADI certification while you're there.

You can also try rock climbing or sea kayaking; there are even child-friendly companies that conduct 2-day courses.

Tour the areas many islands (some of them deserted) on a guided tour, or rent a sea kayak and head out on your own adventure.

also, Krabi has four national parks to enjoy. The Khao Sok is a rainforest habitat with a large variety of birds and animals, and is a popular for day trippers and campers. Than Bokkhorani features natural springs, limestone cliffs, and a lot of (real) monkey play. Pa Tung Tieo is south of Krabi and is a lowland rainforest. The last national park's name is probably

longer than the park is wide: Hat Nopharat Thara-Mu Ko

Phi Phi. Forget trying to say it, just visit the beaches and beauty it encompasses. Many parts of this park are only accessible by boat, so hire a guide and sail away.

Try this http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Krabi%... to find more information. they also have great discount for hotel booking, up to 80% off.  Have a nice trip.

  4. If you can, you should check out Monkey Temple in Lopburri. Lopburri is about 3 hours north of Bangkok, easily reachable by train.  There are so many monkeys you feel like you're in the middle of a zoo exhibit. I loved it!

Also, if you're in Bangkok definitely take the public transportation. The skyline is so easy. Sukhumvit if awesome at night. They call it Little Arabia.  Great night market and an amazing amount of middle eastern restaurants and people.

  5. Go spend some time in Phuket, Koh Samui and have a few days in Bangkok on your way back.

Thailand will draw you in and you might want to stay longer.

I have been many times and love it more each time.

Do your home work online first and decide what sort of holiday you want. Trip advisor and Lonely planet and Rough Guide will all help.

I have added a link to get you started,

  6. I would go where there are few tourists - which would mean avoiding Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket.

I would head Northeast to khon Kaen or Udorn Thani or Korat

  8. It does depend on what you want. If it's parties, raves and stuff, then Samui, Phan Gan, Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok.

If it's peace and quiet on the most beautiful beaches and islands set in the most beautiful surroundings, then the starting point is Krabi.

Google search for cheapest flights to Bangkok, then google search cheapest flights to Krabi, but booking them in Bangkok is usually cheaper.

Get to Krabi and get a room for the night in the Thai Hotel, (cheap, clean and friendly), then just wander around the nice little town and see what's on offer, there's loads of it. Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Jum, Ao Nang to name just a few. A place called Pine Bungalow is really nice, I may even see you there.

Sawadee cap is hello, unless you're female, then it's Sawadee khaa.

Kop Kuhn (as in spoon) is thanks.

    Enjoy!.

  9. Bangkok, Chaing Mai and Phuket

    Book with Expedia

  10. That depends what do you wish to see and do in Thailand. You can take a flight to Bangkok. Once there you can easily find travel agencies that does tour package for a very much cheaper rate than booking it online. Best places to go in Thailand,

Best Adventure (rafting, jungle trekking): Chiang Mai

Beach: Phuket, Hua Hin, Kho Phangan, Kho Samui

    Best "callgirls": Phuket

    Best Beach Party: Kho Phangan

Best Shopping: Bangkok - Chatchuchak Market

Best Honeymoon Resort: Kho Samui & Hua Hin

  11. You don't give much information.  Men and women often prefer different things.  Traveling with other people or with children may influence where you go.  Even if you are more middle aged vs closer to being real young also affects your choices.  Read up on Thailand (you can get travel guides from your library too!)  Once you know what appeals to you then you can plan your itinerary.

Who to book with??  Where are you from?  Where you fly from may also influence who you choose to fly with.  If you have already established some sort of frequent flier "elite" membership, like silver or gold cards,  you can fly with an airline that uses that card so you can add more miles and get preferred boarding and other perks.

You could also ask for information from some of your local travel agencies.  This way you will get free information on who flies from your area, where your airports are if you don't know, also a rough idea of price.  Check the airline websites and see what they are charging for flights to BKK from your country.  Check several dates to see if the price changes.  You can try discounters and bucket shops for "good deals" but without knowing what the airlines are charging how would you know if you have  good deal?

Sample stuff you  can see or do in Thailand.

Got your passport?  Do you need a visa?  The country passport you use determines what type of visa you get.
