I want to go to The University of MIami, any advice?

I'm starting my sophmore year on monday, i want to do anything and everything to get into UM. What kind of things should I get involved with at school? What is the GPA required to be accepted? I need to know anything and everything that is going to upper my chances of being accepted.

high GPA. at least a 3.8, good SAT/ACT scored and a lot of  extracurricular activities
