UCLA is my dream school

I was thinking just major in something else, and take Business&Administration at a community college, but still go to UCLA.

What you think?

Thanks.

  1. Go to UCLA (and not a community college).  Major in economics.  Take several math classes.

You will be much better prepared going to a great school and doing that than going to a mediocre school and majoring in business.

Then work for a few years and get an MBA.

  2. I'd say- Apply to UCLA, make sure that you have OUTSTANDING grades and GPA. Getting into UCLA requires a lot. Once you are in you can always major in something that is close to Business.

I see no point in taking business classes at a community college if you wont be able to transfer those classes... unless you attend a UC or CSU school with that major.

  3. Go to Berkeley, if you can get into LA you can probably get in there and you'll have access to much better jobs if you graduate from Haas.
