I want to go to Willy Wonka's town! Seriously!?

I know parts of the movie made in the 1970s were filmed in Munich, Germany. I will be travelling to Munich soon and I would love to visit any of the places it was filmed. Do you know of any?

Yeah sure, i happen to live near one of those places. Even though i was just 10 when they filmed, i can still remember a lot of it.

Anyway, the place is called Wolfrathausen and its about half an hour south of Munich. It is still gorgeous and asking around the locals will lead you to the main places where they filmed here.
