I want to go to a different school!!!?

Question

I hate my public high school. I didn't do so well last year in my freshman year, ever since my friend moved away. I have no one now. I use to go to a private Catholic school in my elementary days. My parents put my into school of choice, because the tuition was high. It was okay at first, but now I just really hate my school. How can I convince my parents to send me to a new school? A farely cheap boarding school? Home schooling? Private school? Or any other public school that I can get into without living in the neighborhood? I need help with this!!!

What are your experiences with this? Let me know. I NEED to go to some other kind of school. I won't be abe to function.

tell your parents everything negative about the school.something like the kids bully me or i don't learn anything from the teachers.i did that once when i purposely failed a test,because i wanted to change schools.it was scary when my parents went crazy trying to help me learn-but they transferred me and i was fine-this may be a crazy advice,but it worked

Explain to your parents, WHY you want to go to a different school, and, if you defend yourself well and accurately enough they should give in, but you need a good REASON to want to switch schools, so dont just sa, because I want to, because that will get you nowhere.

my bf went to private school all his life and when he wanted to change high schools his mom didnt let him because she said "thats where you asked to go, now you're gonna stick with it" maybe you can threaten to kill yourself...im sure they'll let you change schools then.

That depends on why you want to go to a different school. If there is something wrong with the school you are in, such as gang violence, bullying, or bad teaching, those are good reasons. If you want to go to another school because you have a friend there or because a person you have a crush on is there, I would think your parents would say NO.
