Wear your bathing suit. Honestly who is going to know that you are wearing a bathing suit. If they did notice that you are wearing a bathing suit would they care. Probabley not

Maybe go ahead and wear the bathing suit shorts with a t-shirt. It's a pain having to carry stuff around with you at an amusement park.

I suggest wearing a pair of boardshorts; they're like shorts and a bathing suit together.

If it is both a theme park and water park then you will most probably want clothes to go to the theme park in. If it will be hot then the best thing to do would be to wear some shorts or a skirt over the bathing suit. I would also bring a jacket just in case it gets a bit chilly. xx =P
