I need to do something life changing... are there any organizations that will send me to africa to help? without me having to really pay for much?

I spent 2 years in Tanzania with the Peace Corps and loved it. BUT, it is definitely not for everybody. Look into it and get first hand accounts from as many returned vols as you can. Their slogan says it all; "The toughest job you'll ever love."

There are all kinds of programs. One being the Peace Corp. Check with your pastor. He/she should know of missionary programs out there, who are looking for good hearted volunteers. I've always dreamed of visiting Africa too. It is the one place I would love to see, before I die. Good Luck

join the peace corps. they have things going on all around africa, and the world. i'm joining after i graduate college, a degree helps big time. and usually you agree to go for 27 months. and they pay for everything, food, board, but you don't get a wage until you've served a certain amount of time. oh and you have to be 18 and a high school graduate
