  1. Check out http://www.knowhow2go.org/ for guidance.  This is a national site, but it also ties in to many state-specific sites.  Check out the bottom of the page to see if your state is listed.

  2. First thing about college is being able to pay for it.....

1: think of the schools you may want to go to.

    2: fafsa.gov

    3:seek scholarships

    4:apply to schools

  3. Well first off you need to figure out where your at, at the moment. Rather your a high school student. A dropout. A graduate or what ever. You need to obviously find your field of choice, along with what school you would like to study at. The are many different types of colleges, universities, community colleges, etc... Personally i recommend just googling around and looking for things that spark your interest. This is where i found all i wanted to be www.princetonreview.com it has some quizzes to say where you fit best. Even gives you recommended schools and scholarships you are eligible for. But don't try to get into more than you can chew college is a big responsibility especially for kids who are used to living at home with their parents so its something to think about as well

    :)

  4. Well, go talk to your high school guidance counselor. Decide whether you'd like to be t a small school or large school, and how much money you can spend. Choose a location (close to home, far from home, East Coast, West Coast, etc.) and then look at the Princeton guide to help you out. They put out a college guide every year that is extremely helpful and comprehensive. You can buy it at Borders or B&N for, like, $7.

If you're interested, there's a great book called Ten Colleges That Change Lives (or something like that) that is REALLY good!

After that I would look up some information about the schools on their websites. And DEFINITELY visit their campuses!

    Good Luck!

  5. Well first of all you need 2 know what u want 2 go for and then when u r certain u should choose what college u want 2 attend and go there 2 the admissions office and ask questions if u have any...I'm sure u do!!! Then go from there!!! You definitely have 2 take the ACT test if u haven't done so...but like I said go 2 admissions and ask ?'s :) Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Well, I recommend you go to your college of choice & go to admissions and registrations.   Or, you can even go and speak with one of the counselors.
