I was born in Lima Peru, and later moved to Virginia when i was about 6 years old, after nine years of living there, my parents decided to move back to Peru, and i hadn't finished my high school years, i was a still a sophomore. So now i'm living here in Peru, but i still want to go back and study in Virginia. I have one more year here before i graduate and i don't know how to get into college from here. Can anyone help me?

  1. you can still apply to study here. go to www.ed.gov see study in the united states or contact a college in virg you are interested and they can hep for free.

  2. You go to the college's web site and apply like anyone else. If you are not an American citizen you will be considered an international applicant, making it a bit tougher to get in and much tougher to get any financial aid. At state schools you would get no aid but private colleges offer aid to top students.

  3. You would probably have to apply to college as an international student.  When you are accepted, they would help you acquire a student visa to allow you to come back to the US.
