  1. Dublin and Galway are brilliant places to visit, I have a friend who lives in Dublin and she of course loves it as there is so much to so and see and you never have time to be bored, I also love Galway too, lovely people and lots to see and do, everyone is so friendly and welcoming in Ireland no matter where you go.

  4. Everywhere is good to live in Ireland - though almost everywhere is expensive.

If you are not an EU citizen you will need a work visa. It's easiest to get your employer to get this before you come.

When here, remember the two parts of the island are Northern Ireland and Ireland (sometimes called the Republic of Ireland) - there is NO country called Southern Ireland. Do not call the country 'Éire' unless you are speaking the Irish language.

  11. Galway or indeed anywhere in the west of Ireland is nice.

  12. greg 14 has just given u the menu

  13. OK, the first thing you have to learn about my wonderful home country is that when  you ask this question people will only answer with where they are from or where they now live..... people in Ireland are biased.... I know I've lived here all my life...... they are also very different all over.

My advice is to take a month or more if possible and travel around, once you hit 2 - 3 couties in the North, South, East and West you'll get a good view.... hit the 4 provences and pick a few counties of each. The reason I give this advice is that, I'm Irish and I'm still surprised at how some Irish people are, I don't knwo how many times I've felt like I'm in a different country when on holidays here even if I'm only 50 miles away from home!!!

Good Luck and have fun!!!  ;-)

  14. YA AND I WANNA STEP ON THE MOON ND MAYBE POSSIBLY LIVE THERE ONEDAY

  16. dublin is the best place the counrty is ok but trust me dublin is the place to be! stay away from cork and kerry horrible places!!!!

  17. You should buy an Irish travel guide. I heard that Dublin is a pretty intersting place though

  18. My friend and I went there and rented a car to explore Ireland on our own. It would really depend on what you like when you get there. We are both city people but driving on the wrong side of the road in tremendous traffic and construction in Dublin was NOT fun. Galway city was very, very crowded and the roads were hard to navigate. We ended up staying in small towns and just really enjoying the traditional Irish life. I would reccommend visiting before you decide to move there. The very best things we did were seeing the Blarney Castle, the cliffs of Moher, driving the ring of Kerry and staying with certain awesome Irish people at the B&Bs. If you fly into Shannon, you must stay at Tara Green B&B. Also, make sure to try KP Hula Hoops (crisps/chips), Cadbury Flake (chocolate candy bars) and Bulmer's Cider (beer).

  19. hi. depends on what your looking for. if you like nightlife and partying i suggest dublin or galway city. galway city is more laid back.

  22. i was born there .   stay here

  23. Co Donegal really is the prettiest place in Ireland.  Everytime I go, about twice a year, I'm always so happy that we don't stay in the cities.  Galway is the nicest city, Dublin is gross, but really get out into the country.
