  1. Your best time is at the end of Sep the weather is better and cooler----you will love Italy

  2. The best time to go a bit depends upon where you plan to travel in the country and what you plan to do.  Generally, peak tourist season is July and August (most Italians are on holiday for much of August).  During these months, most of the main tourists sites will be quite crowded and the temperatures in central to Southern Italy can be quite hot.

If you are traveling to Tuscany (Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, etc), Umbria, Rome, Venice, or Cinque Terre, then I would recommend either April/ May or September.  During these months, the tourist traffic is slightly lower resulting in better prices and less congestion; in addition, the weather is generally pleasant (neither too hot nor too cold).  If you are not bothered by cool weather, Venice can be quite enjoyable in the winter months (the crowds are thinner and the locals seem to have more time for you).

As you move further south (Naples, Capri, Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Aeolian Islands), you can generally find good weather year round though the beaches will be better in the summer.  As for the Alpine areas and the northern lakes (Lake Garda, Lake Como), there is terrific skiing in the winter, but otherwise, the summer months are best.

  3. The best time to come is or Autunm or Spring. Summer is too hot, today it was 32 Degrees (I'm in Naples) and its getting hotter, In August 99% of all shops are closed in the cities as everyone packs up and heads to the beaches as the temperatures are unbearable. The best time really depends on where you eant to go. For the South I'd say Autunm as its still warm but not deadly hot and humid and you can still go to the beach without the August crowd, and prices (which are normaly 2 to 3 times more as its very high-season) are very reasonable and people are relaxed after a months holidays. Spring is better for the north as its quite warm, not yet humid, normally sunny and there's no fog!!!! I suggest you come to the South, It really is lovely here and as an emigrant, I'm Irish, I feel right at home!!!!

  4. i like and enjoy Italy in summer as well as in spring but maybe if you are not use to the heat you could choose spring or september...if you are a beach lover then is summer for you

  5. Italy is nice all year round if go check out rome naple and while in naples go to island of capri it about a 1hr boat ride i think

  6. I think spring and autumn are the best season to visit italy.

Winters can be to cold sometimes..and summers are very hot..expecially at the end of july and at the beginnig of august(usually more then 30-35 degrees)

  7. from september to december... and from april to july. Italy is always amazing!
