Someone told me that you can major in english and still get in to medical school. True? If that's the case i was thinking of majoring in Women's Studies.

  1. Since when was pre-med a major?  Major in biology like the other 90% of students do.  Medical school is hard enough to get in as it is.

  2. I would think you have to go into a pre-med program.....dont you think ?

  3. Probably pre-med, Biology or any other life sciences major. I think it's wise to contact UCLA School of Medicine and check with them just to be on the safe side.

  4. Why would you want to major in English if you plan on going to med school? I plan on going to med school but I'm majoring in Biology

  5. You can major in anything.  However, you need to be able to do well on the MCAT exam, so women's studies might not help you very much.
