  1. Go to the Dayton Air Show, and while your in town visit the United States Air Force Museum. It's sweet.

A lot of times you will find a lot of aviation legends and pioneers. They are usually in town for the annual National Aviation Hall of Fame induction ceremony. It's really pretty cool to get to meet them.

  2. Sun-N-Fun.  Lakeland, Florida.  However, you'd have to wait until next year to attend as it wrapped up yesterday.

  3. Oshkosh - no contest!

  4. go to langly air force base

  5. just saying if you want to see some vetran aircraft go to Ellisworth Airforce Base.... not many planes though........

    Oh ya for the airshow.....Oshkosh

  6. No question; Oshkosh Wisconsin. Nothing like it.

  7. The AirVenture at Oshkosh Wisconsin.  Upwards of 12,000 aircraft on the grounds.  The nicest, best organized, cleanest, friendliest large scale event I have ever been a part of.

The other air show I would like to attend is in November at Nellis Air Force Base.

The last time I attended AirVenture I camped three nights.  Really the way to go.  Gives you a lot more time to see all the sights and attend many of the special events.  One of my highlights of the show back in 1997 showcasing the 50th anniversary of the Air Force was seeing a real live flying SR-71 Blackbird!!  What a beautiful sight!!

AirVenture is a Mecca for aviation enthusiasts.  You will not be disappointed.
