  1. Island hopping is great if you have the time and like travelling light - however avoid doing it in August (especially around 15th) as all Greeks take the holidays then and it's difficult to find accommodation

  2. Island hop.  You'll find you want to spend more time on some islands than others as they vary in that some are party islands and other's are more romantic type islands.

You can buy ferry tickets between islands easy enough and there is always people greeting you when arriving at each island trying to sell you their accommodation packages.

  3. If you have a long holiday, I suggest to travel around, because there are so many beautiful islands, one more beautiful than the other. Otherwise just choose 1 island and perhaps visit a few others.

Have a great holiday and a lot of fun!

  4. do what you think you would like

  5. The islands are very far apart so no point to going back to one spot then travelling on.  Just island hop (as advised earlier).

Also, if you don't smoke make sure your ferry tickets are for non-smoking section. Some trips take 4hours (and more) and being stuck in the smoking section nearly killed me!!!

Our tour guide mucked up the ticket ordering.

    Have a wonderful time.

  6. There are sooo many islands, from Lefkada to Rhodes, you can find beautiful beaches.

  7. I sub jest MILOS

, rent a room in Apollonia and rent a scooter (30 euro) and travel around
