Hi, I have always wanted to go to the navy academy ever since I was little. I'm 16 now, and going into my Junior year. But I feel I'm not doing enough, and am curious if you think if I can still get in. I'm willing to do anything, to get in. Heres what I've been doing so far.

1. I have been rowing crew for several years now, so that is kinda of my main sport, and i do soccer on the sidelines.

2. Im in an early college program, and am currently enrolled in a community college full time. I will have my associates degree, by the time I turn 18, and before I get my diploma... so I could get my bachelors degree by the time I turn 20 ( but not in the USNA of course).

3. And of course I have a job.

4. MY GPA as 3.8 too.

I know I need to be doing more, so what do you suggest??? And do you think I still have a shot at getting in???

Thanks

  1. Try these two links. But remember to have a back up plan in place. Apply for ROTC scholarships.

    Good Luck

  2. I suggest you check out the website I have given as a source.

It would help to have a Congressman's recommendation.

  3. Leadership roles: Class Officer, Club Officer, team captain.

    Community service: Volunteer.

You need to start the process NOW.  get the application, get the recommendation from your Congressman/Senator.  Get Cracking.  you are almost running out of time to get it done by the time you graduate High School..
