  1. Yes, you can do it for sure.Me and my friends have done it . It takes almost 3 hours. During your walk you would also find enough refreshments to keep you going.

  2. go ahead best of luck

  3. If you have a spirit to do that just go ahead & dont think on it. All the best.

  4. I guess you know how to get to Tirupathi railway station/bustand from CBE.

Both of them are near and there are lots of Free buses that take you to the foot of the Tirumala hill.

It takes 2.5 hours to 4 hours to walk the hill.  Depending upon how fast you can walk.

For the first 45 minutes to 1 hr. The steps are little bit steep. It will be little bit difficult.  But then there are lots of Shelter and refreshments through out the way.  Drinking water is also available in plenty.

In midway there is a big Hanuman Statue/Temple, after that it will be easier to walk. Very few steps and are not steep at all.  After this there number of shops will also reduce.

The steps will again become little bit steeper when you are about to reach the hill. Once you reach Tirumala there are lots of free buses that take you around Tirumala.

    Hope this helps.

  5. From chennai to tirupati you need to take train. From tirupati you need to take bus to tirumala. After that you have to walk at least 30 to 40 minutes to reach temple.
