I want to grow a seedless orange plant from start, not to buy one from a nursery, How do I do that?

  1. Instead of buying the seedless orange, you can grow the Jaffa orange plant, also known as the Shamouti orange--a very sweet, almost seedless orange-- and you can grow it from a seed you extract from a store bought Jaffa orange fruit.

  2. You are going to need a cutting from a seedless plant and another orange plant to graft it to.  It would probably be much easier to just buy a seedless one from a nursery though.  That is how they make theirs.

  3. Make a cut in a small branch and hang a bag of damp soil there and let it develope some roots...........and a way we go. Just don't get caught in the orchard..........or you may be the bag hanging in the tree.:)
