Question

I want to have a baby but I am very irregular I been taking prometrium with clomid by 6 months prescribed by the doctor but I do not regularize the menstruation because now I have 12 day of late period I took a test past saturday and it came out negetive.

What is better Prometrium or Provera to regularize if I also want to have a baby helpp meee pleasee :(

I am taking prenatal vitamins

im also very irregular and believe me very i take provera and i never had problems getting pregnant i have 4 girls and 1 boy it will happen when its time just be patient

I was also very irregular.  Although, I did not need any help getting pregnant with my first, I did need assistance with getting pregnant with #2.

I was on Provera @10 mg for 10 days followed by Clomid @ 50 mg on days 3-7.  After 2 rounds, I got pregnant and have a beautiful and healthy baby boy that turned 3 weeks today.

Good Luck.  I never tried Prometrium, but Provera with Clomid worked for me.

I was on metformin for two years, and that regulated my periods.

HI there,

I had many problems conceiving too and it took me 7 yrs to have my son.  Irregular periods and even trying clomid also.  There was no reason they saw for me to not get preg.  i was healthy, 110 pounds and athletic but still no baby.  I did get preg. just about when I gave up.  So  maybe don't stess over it and it will come.  I just had a second baby after 10 yrs of not using any contraceptive again.  It took me awhile again.  I will tell you that the past 3 yrs though that I found a herb that helped me regulate my period to every 27 days and they lasted 5 days.  It is called saw palmetto.  I buy it from walmart and take like4-5 pills of this.  It has given me a period again when mine was only lasting like 2 days and was like every 40 days instead of every 29.  I think it helped me and is a natural herb.
