  1. Call golf courses and tell them what you are trying to do. Some courses get more outing requests than they can handle while others struggle to get all that they want.  The supply/demand status of each course may determine how much they want to help.  If a course really wants/needs the outing, they may at least steer you in the proper directions so that they may land the outing at their course.  Outings are huge revenue generators for course owners.  I would not expect the course to give you discount rates because you are having a charity event.   Be prepared to do A LOT of work.  People running an outing for the first time usually dont know what they're getting into.

  2. Some courses will go out of their way to make your outing while others have no desire to help you. the only way is to call and ask them but if some are rude to you and don't help don't get discouraged. just to continue to make calls or ask around at golf shops and you'll find the right one .. Good luck

  3. yes, call them all. One is sure to take you up on the event, for the right price though/

  4. Sure, but many of the popular courses fill their tournament schedules early in the year. Your cause will make a differance, how many people, weekday or weekend, food, carts, etc. They may discount carts and greens fees under various circumstances. Start calling to find out more. Private clubs may not be interested in many cases.

  5. yes go to as many clubs as u can and see who will give the best deal and go with them for making money for glof tourney is esay go to different companys and tell thme whta ur up to and they will help u out   its alot of work but worth it u get a couple of close friends and go for it there all kinds of ways to raise funds u will find that out as u go along u will need to have 2 or 3 months before tourney to get every thing in place just keep in mind the more u put into it the more u will get out and make money for ur cause good luck and have fun doing it u will have a great tourney make the most u can and enjoy doing all the best

  6. Yes most golf courses will be willing to help. The thing you need to realize though is that there is little money to be raised simly with a golf tournament. The way people make money off of these things are simply by sponsorships...it's usually on you to go out and find sponsors to sponsor a hole, or donate drinks to sell for %100 profit. (Most soft drinks Dr. pepper/Coke or even beer companies are willing to do such) You can also try local resturaunts to pay and put up signs on tee boxes as advertisement; or to donate food to again sell for all profit. These are the ways to make money of tournaments. A good tournament director will tell you that...and again, most will bend over backwards to get your event to their course.
