  1. If you applied for places like that you really dont need experience and really dont even need a resume. Just fill out the applications thoroughly(if you miss something or it looks sloppy they will likely throw it out) After that follow up on it...actually go into the stores looking presentable and ask to speak with the hiring manager. Say "Hello (introduce yourself) I just applied here a few days ago and was wondering if there was any possibility of setting up an interview" This should at least get your foot in the door, the interview is up to you look professional and act it too...good luck and dont give up!

  2. I feel for you. Unfortunately, Employers care less. Hiring is a "necessary evil"

Online app go to a server in the H/R department. Store Managers are Overwhelmed with duties.

    Ok, The Plan:

    * Visit the University Career Office; use their services

    * Scan the newspaper; check Craigs List & Yahoo hot jobs

    * Go to the Workforce Ctr (unemployment office). Tremendous resource

    * Go to the store(s) Off-Peak..Early morning (7 am) is best

2-3 weeks is too long to wait...YOU are too valuable for that!

  3. This is a genuine work from home business in Australia, UK, Germany, & USA.

    Try it & Enjoy

  4. If you ever volunteered that would help also following up would help too. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

  5. go to walmart or mcyds if you need money fast

  6. You need to put a resume together nice and neat. Do not fret if you have no employment history, maybe you did side work, odd jobs, or community service. Volunteer services also displays experience. Also talk about your goals and studies.

Face it, an application has no personality, you need to go nicely dress (Business Casual) to these stores with enough applications to had out with a resume. The Internet is great for a 2year professional or better. When you are starting out, you must pound the pavement and meet and greet people. After any conversation you collect name number tel number and an e-mail address( to send a thank you note)

Once a week call each of these people up and mention that you are still available for employment. Also ask to be kept on file as a backup candidate as people always move unexpectedly. and this may be you ticket in the door.

After all, you and I know you wont work there forever, so take whatever job you have with joy. It will be the only break you have away from studying and school so enjoy it.
