  1. From the article linked below:

-Ever feel a little romantically challenged? Ever want notice how she smiles and tries to be happy, but seems to get more and more out of touch with the person you married and more and more mired in the minutia of day to day life? This article is designed to give you the elements of a wonderful date for your wife. One that tells her how truly thankful you are for her. One that she will call her friends about.-

It goes on to list steps like Pre-Plan, plant surprises along the way, build in time to communicate, have other people help you, let go of how you think the date should end.

It gets a lot more specific, here's the link:

  2. You are a good guy to want to have a romance with your wife. I love it.

Yes dinner in a lovely place. See if you can reserve a table with candles and in a place with dinner music.

Oh oh oh, how bout a dinner cruise? Yes perfect! Take her dancing . Give her a corsage'. At least I like that more than a bouquet. Reserve a romantic hotel suite' preferably by the water. Bring bubble bath and a few roses so while she soaks you can place petals about the room. Order a nice bottle of bubbly (water) or cider LOL I don't drink alcohol, but then I won't be there! Duh.

  3. maybe a restaurant taht has dancing as well...

or hit the nice restaurant, then, take her to a nice bar, like a martini bar where you two can get a couple cocktails and chat, or if you want more fun romance, take her where there is a good band at the nice bar.. we have a couple places like that in my town.. its a nice nyc type bar that has a good band on fridays...

or, pack a picnic and one of these nights when its warm, bring candles and a couple blankets and go to a beach or park...

it all sounds vvery cliche, i know, but one of the most fun nights i've had with my man was when we went to nyc, walked around, hand in hand, went dancing, walked around some more, and drove home, very early in the morning...

another great one was we went to a bbq, then drove to a bar, listened to the band, cuddled, drove to another bar, had a couple drinks, talked, then parked the truck in the back of the parking lot and made out... i felt so young again!!!

  4. Find a scenic, quite place (botanical garden, beach) and take her on a picnic with wine and cheese and stuff.  Or, perhaps a ride on a horse-drawn carriage.  Another option would be to re-create (as best you can) your first date.

Ladies - how are these suggestions??

  5. Some times it the simple things in life. Set up in your home a romantic setting; light some candles. Have a bottle of wine. Cheese and bread to nibble. Maybe see a movie like (the note book) something romantic. IF you want dinner pre plan and get (olive garden take out) set that up with all of the above. Dim the lights and do your thing. To top that off get some candles around the bath tub and set up a romantic bubble bath. Always have some rose's for that perfect gift.

  6. If you want to make it truly romantic, think of what kind of things she likes, that she finds the most romantic, and go with that. Make it all about her.

Is she the kind that likes fancy restaurants, theater plays, and an overnight stay in a fancy hotel, with spa and bubbly? Then arrange that for her.

Does she like the beach/surf? Take her to a beach side restaurant, go for a a walk along the beach before/after dinner and to a beach side cabin where she can hear the surf roll in all night.

Would she prefer a picnic followed by a stay in a cabin, open fireplace and a snuggle under a rug? Then do that for her.

Would she prefer a dinner made by you at home, candle lights, a bubble bath and then to bed with you? Then give her that.

It really is the thought that counts, and she will appricate it so much more if she knows you made an effort to put her preferences first.

    Good luck!

  7. okay take her to a fancy resturant i mean something she never been to before and while yall eating look her in her eyes and tell her how special she is to you then when yall get home have the room all romanted up lol and make love this is some good advice

  8. Beer, pizza and a football game on the t.v...

Hey who says romance has to be dim lights, soft music, and a fire in the fireplace...sheesh.

  9. Whatever you plan ahead will be nice. The fact that you plan something you want to do with your wife shows your thoughtfulness and she should appreciate it, no matter what you do. You could always take her bowling or even to the arcade. Romance doesn't always have to be chocolates and flowers, you know. Who knows? If you cleaned up the house and took out the trash without being asked she may find that was the sexiest thing you've done all year!

  10. Plan anything she'll love it no matter what ... unless she's materialistic..but from the sound of it,  she'll love no matter what it is..

  11. dinner at a fancy new restaurant, if you got the dough, something new and shiney (something with her birth stone), then when you get back home, put on some barry white, and give her a massage with a happy ending :P

  12. dinner is always a good start, especially if you cook it!  if you don't know how to cook enlist the help of a friend or neighbor. draw your wife a nice bath afterwards, put out her or your favorite comfy clothes, it could be her favorite pair of sweats or shorts. light some candles, pop in a great movie, don't forget dessert, her all time favorite beverage,by this point you get my idea. don't forget, her favorite smell(vanilla, cucumber melon, whatever), flowers for sure. if you have kids kick them out for the night, turn off all phones, lock the doors, shut the world out, but most of all have fun! oh and i'm thinking your wanting to this for her after she comes home from work. good luck to you!

  13. Don't forget flowers!!! I would discreetly ask her about what she would like to do, for example, I would start talking about something that I wanted to do like watch a specific movie and then ask her right after so its not so obvious.

  14. a play would be nice. dinner at a fancy restaurant!!!!!!!!!

  15. pretend that you are not married.  ask her out.  Tell her what time you are going to pick her up.   The other night my husband took me to an expensive hotel we spent the night.  then he took me on a date with my husband to an arcade. he like ms pac man and I love house of the dead. We played air hockey and walked on the pier holding hands and just looked at the water and enjoyed each others company we sat there and he put his arm around me and for the first time in a long time i felt like he was mine and I was his. the whole evening cost us about $50. I had more fun at the arcade then the expensive hotel with dinner. Don't laugh I know im a cheap date, but it isnt always about money it is the thought that goes into it.
