  1. keep up the running, but to answer your question directly, here are some ab workouts:

crunches are simple and somewhat effective, if you put your hands behind your head, remember to still lift with your abs. for added strengthening, try to do these while balancing on your trampoline.

sit ups are even more effective than crunches, but if you do them on a hard surface, it hurts your tail bone, also remember to not lift your feet. using weights works wonders.

leg lifts are one of the most difficult exercises i know, it sounds easy but it is actually quite brutal. lay on your back and lifts your legs 6" of the ground for 30 seconds, then 12" for 30 seconds, then spread your legs for 30 seconds, then flutter kick without bending your legs for 30 second, repeat. it helps to have your hands under your butt so your tail bone doesn't hurt. if you don't cheat on this exercise, it will help a lot. if you have ankle weights, wear them.

planks are easier, but difficult to hold for a long time, they also help tone your abs more that provide shock strength. lay on your stomach with your arms close to your chest. rise up onto your for arms and toes. hold your back level and your elbows at a 90˚ angle. also try it on your side where you are on the side of your foot, and your same side arm. difficult to explain, but easier to show. try to do these with weight on your lower back.

leg throws require a partner. lay down with your head in between your partner's feet (i recommend closing your eyes). grab your partner's feet and lift your legs in the air to where your partner can reach them. let your partner throw your legs toward the floor alternating left, right and straight and use your abs to keep your legs from hitting the floor. allow your partner to throw your legs to within six inches of the floor.

jack knives are done by laying on your back, then lifting your chest and legs off the ground. hold that for a second, the raise up your chest and legs and touch as high as you can on your legs, then go down. do these in sets of ten without touching the ground in between each jack knife. where your ankle weights here to.

hope you get that six pack you were hoping for.

  2. OKAY here are tons of different types of abbs.

    workout

    regular crunches 50x's

fold over your legs to the right and do crunches 50x's

    now to the left 50x's

bring knees back up and elbow to opposite knee 50x's

    regular crunches 50x's

    THEN

lie straight on your back, and take your elbows and hold yourself up. you should feel your abbs tighten.for three minutes (this should be very painful)

those are just a few abbs, theres a million more.

  3. yea,i want one to,but what i am doing right now is really helping because my season starts this summer.right now i have a 4 pack though, but it took me 2 1/2 weeks to do that!! C : But what I do is do 25 pushups then 25 situps (make your elbows touch your knees),then 20 pushups,20 situps,15 pushups,15 situps, etc. counting by 5's.then when you get done with the last five,do it again going up.i never really ran to get my 4 pack, but I do some biking and some fast walking.getting in the plank position also helps, you get on you elbows instead of your hands in the pushup position. When I do my little workout I wear a slimmer belt,it's this big thing that covers my whole stomach and I velcro it tight. You can also use this on your upper legs.I sleep with the slimmer belt on too,.I dont eat anything greasy or fried,no carbonated drinks, nothing thats really unhealthy.I hope this helps.

  4. my coach told me that doing boeards is a great ab workout... its basically just staying in the push up position, except on your forarms, not your hands, and hold it for like a min or more if you can. leg lifts, crunches, twisting crunches, etc.

  5. Pillars!! will give you six pack in no time

  6. The best way to get a visible 6-pack is to burn the fat and to feed the muscle.

The common problem for why people don't see their abs is because of they are not lean enough, not because they don't have abs. If you want defined abs, you want to burn as much fat as you can by volleyball season, while working on your abs as well.

A few fat-burning exercises I recommend are running, skipping, cycling, swimming, or any physically intensive spot like basketball. I'll tell you something about running. When you're running, if you only run for a period under, let's say 10 minutes, you're not burning any fat at all. During the beginning of your run, your body is using mainly carbohydrates as fuel. So the idea is that if you want to burn fat with running, you want to start off with a light warm-up or ten minutes jog before really running to burn fat as fuel. Try to add a little bit of physical activity throughout your day as it raises your metabolism and allows you to burn fat even if you're not working out.

As unrelated weight-training might seem to losing weight, it's related. The amount of weight you lose doing physical activity depends on how much you weigh. That's why doing a little bit of weights to gain muscle will help you lose fat quicker, as well as tone your body. If you don't have weights, you can use your body weight by doing push-ups, squats, dips, and things like that.

Another factor that's involved in losing weight is your eating habits. Try to reduce the amount of unhealthy fats you take in every day and check the nutrition labels before eating. It's best to take smaller meals throughout the day than 2 or 3 larger ones.

My last bit of advice is to get a sufficient amount of sleep, 8 hours minimum, if you're serious about getting the abs. Sleep is important for your body to recover for working out the following day, burning a few free calories, and growing. If you're tired every morning, you're less likely to stay committed to getting the abs you want. Also, growing will give your body more area to store fat, distributing the fat more throughout your body and allowing you to look leaner.

    Train hard and stay committed!
