I want to hear from people who are in the drama profession?

Be it theatre or anything at all related.

How many years have you been working/trying to find work in the profession?

Does drama school make a lot of difference?

What is your pay like?

Do you think it is the most over-subscribed course/profession out there?

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated!

I'd ask this question in the "Theater and Acting" category if I were you, lots of people there who could help you (or at least give you an opinion). I'm not a pro, but hoping to be someday!

Hey,  

I'm only 14 but I go to a drama school and my school is really encouraging in performing arts.

My school puts on an anual performance and experience from the drama school helps me get good parts. We get auditions in my drama class for TV adverts and shows. I haven't got into any yet because some girls in my class are much better than me but theres always something to try out for. My drama school always makes sure as many people try out as possible so a drama class is a great way to get noticed.
