Is there a way to hide my IP address without downloading any software or using a website to browse anonymously?

You cannot hide your ip address, its near impossible to hide it. The best you can do is mask it or change it. You need an Anonymous Proxy Server to mask your ip address and a router to have it change dynamically or a service provided who'll change it dynamically for you.

The real question is, from whom do you want to hide this information? Your ISP will always be able to see what you're doing (or you have to encrypt everything, but then still they see what servers you're talking to).

That said, you could use proxies or tunnels for close to anything to have your IP not show up in a server's log file. Other than that, it won't work. If you "hide" your IP address, how would the server know where to send the reply to?
