  1. you want your group out of the directory?

    management- under group settings Description & Appearance- Description (Edit) <-- click the edit- next page scroll to middle

    *  Listed in Yahoo! Groups directory

    *  Not listed in Yahoo! Groups directory <---- check

    click save changes
