i found a very small( about one centimeter or more) caterpillar in a fresh just picked raspberry, now i am kind of interested in bugs (mainly ants, bees, and spiders) and i want to know what it is. its body is gray, and kind of see through, and the head is a dirty yellow color. it moves slowly and it lifts its head a lot. its seems to be very conftable on my finger. its skinny and no odd shape. its eaten some raspberry(ididn'tt eat the one i found it in) and it seems to like peach but it does not eat mint which i found a lot of caterpillars do. i know this is weird and who would really care but this stuff is interesting for me and so please no rude answers or uh idk because those are really annoying. thanks :)

p.s. i think it might be the codling moth but i dont think so

  1. Learn to ID them, here -

  2. As you can see if you checked out the above site caterpillars are very difficult to identify.  I have a book on caterpillar identification which even when you have the caterpillar in hand it is hard to classify.   I suggest you feed your caterpillar allow it to metamorphose and then try to classify the moth.
