Go to the Canadian embassy or consulate for information. Maybe come as a visit, get a visitor's visa if you are required to from your country, first to see if it is what you expect. You can also get a work permit to work here for a while, but you will not qualify for public health care on a work permit so you will need health insurance as well.

You do not need to see anyone.  You should visit the Immigrations Canada website and determine just how you will go about qualifying to emigrate to Canada.  You can also download the forms from there and start your process.  The website will show all the classes for immigration visa's and their cost and wait period.

Canadian embasy in london has an immigration dept or try their website and request the relevant forms.It not too hard if your British.It is very cold and a lot of mossies also but beautiful wilderness and and people are really nice and giving.Halifax is fanatically pro british,but steer well clear of french canada,as they go out of there way to make it difficult for you.Best to live near the American border so you get best of both worlds,ie serenity and friendliness in Canada,but hop to the Us for a bit of violence,theft and drugs.Canada does play cricket and snooker and darts and football and makes pretty good films.The west is the real new gold mine and has a more asian population and is more go getting,less cold but lots of grey drizzle
