Question:

I want to improve my 100m time. Any tips?

here's what i have available:

dirt track

jr olympic pool

mountain bike

stairs

i might be able to get inside a weight room, i'm not sure.

  1. dont take any big strides, get a lot of steps-- the more agility, the better

    kick ur knees up when running to push through

    push hard with ur toes when lifting that lef with that toe up

    swing ur arms hard to push ur body forward


  2. Hundred meters is all out and you just have to see how much you can push yourself.  It going to take time and hard work, of course. Other than that, you should take small quick steps and try to get a huge step in when you start. If you have time then you should practice two hundreds and four hundreds because it will make you a better athlete and it will amaze you to see how much it affects your hundred time.  Make sure your form is on point because that's really important too. Practice in your spikes and in blocks if you can. Eat healthy and sleep well are essential. Stay calm and have fun!! I wish you the best of luck! =]
