I want to install a stereo system in my car but....?

there was a short in the wiring and now my horn, strereo, and internal lights dont work. so i was wundering if there is a way to run it straight from the battery with some type of swich to power it on and off and if so how? thanks

Check your fuses, and yes you can run it straight from the battery and when your stereo turn on so does your system too.
