  1. Why not invest in the Forex (Foreign Exchange Market).

It is much more accessible to everyone now especially if you have an internet connection.

There are no broker fees, the software to trade with is free to download and there are even Forex Robots which trade automatically for you.

They will turn that £1000 into £2000 very quickly.

Don't forget, any investment is risky as things go up and down.

This site will give you some more information and reviews of the best performing Forex Robots.

  2. If you have strong nerves buy bank shares (HBOS were £12 last year)

Split between two known high street banks.

  3. why not buy a warrant?

  4. How about the iraqi dinar

    Im thinking of it

  5. How about you buy a few barrels of oil.

  6. If you give me the £1000, i will see what i can do ;)

  7. Seriously, think about your pension. Maybe think about a SIPP

According to Legal & General, a 25-year-old who saves £100 a month can expect a pension of £12,000 a year when they reach 60. Compare that to someone who leaves their pension planning to the age of 40. They would need to pay an extra £214 a month for the same income on retirement

  8. Why wouldn't you want to put it in a high interest account?  If you want to see the money "going up", a high interest account would accomplish this.

Just go to www.morningstar.com and do some research, then go to www.etrade.com and open up a brokerage account and buy in to a mutual fund or stock.

  9. i would invest in a small business...they can have very good returns, and you can ask for monthly/quaterly etc. updates etc.

  13. Why not invest in the Arsenal Supporters trust, you can own a small stake in the club which is a solid investment that is unlikely to go down due to the increased income from the new stadium and which could benefit substantially from any foreign takeover. This will give you an increased interest in your club and a chance to involve yourself more.......On the other hand just stick it on them to win on Saturday against WBA and enjoy the benefits straight away!

  14. As suggested by a few other users, invest in a small business as with a small business it would mean a lot more to them than it would big company so you would have a higher chance of getting it back plus more.

I could help you out here as I do own a small business called Silhouette Technical Services, which I set up about 3 months ago, and would be very grateful for any investment as I would like to rapidly grow the business.
