I want to invest in Mutual Fund in India. I am not having any knowledge in it. Can any one guide me.?

It is mainly for Tax saving purpose. Kindly advice me with how to invest and best fund to invest? Thank you

You may check the performance of the funds w.r.t. Sensex at http://www.mutualfundsindia.com - this will give a good idea; what you need to search for is this if you are going with non-sectoral funds - if the Sensex falls search for funds that do not fall much and when the Sensex rises, the rise is steeper than the Sensex.

If it is sectoral or commodities related, this could differ hugely.
